It couldn’t just be candles.
There had to be more to it than that.
The thought of awkward silence while the coffee-inspired candles set didn’t seem like much fun for anyone. So, to keep things engaging, we added a round of classic trivia. Since we hosted two versions of this workshop—one for romantic partners and one for everyone else—we also created two types of trivia.
Now, one of the team’s biggest concerns going in was how the candles would turn out. Even after a lot of trial and error, there was no way to predict every possible scenario during our first-ever workshop. Short of holding everyone’s hand through each step, we just had to hope for the best.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our very first workshop. We had our fair share of nerves going in because we really wanted to make sure you got your money’s worth. But thanks to everyone’s patience, creativity, and flexibility, we’re proud to say it was a huge success.
